Leadership Bible Study - Titus

Hey Tuesday night bible study peeps!

If you aren't involved in our Leadership bible study, you should be! It's every other Tuesday night at my house. We eat, hang out, and study God's word. You should be there!

For my bible study students, I know that we didn't finish going through our study last night, so here is your chance to discuss what you think. Simply type the question(s) that you want to answer and write what you think. This is a great way for us to get caught up and keep in touch until our next study on Philemon and Hebrews. Our student host for August 2nd is Eli Hood. And by the way, Maggie Strobel did an awesome job as our student host this week!

See you soon!

  2. Titus Questions
    A Good Life: question 1-
Q-Why do you think it is important for a Christian to live a good and pure life even though this is not the basis of salvation?
A- Well, the bible says that by just doing good things will not get you into heaven, but it is important to do good things after we accept christ and we are suposed to live a good and pure life to basically represent our saviour. Also, living a good and pure life will help us to be strong and wise spiritually and it will help us when we face those trials in life.

    2. Q- Describe a life that would be pleasing to God.
A- I feel like I can never please God, because we constanly disobey him and we sin so much and God wants us to live a perfect life, but he also knows that we can't. The main things that I try to do to make my life pleasing to God is always be faithful, stay in the word, stay in prayer, don't judge as much as I do and give God all of me and give him all the Glory. I feel like the only life that fully pleases God is the life of his son Jesus Christ, because I know that I don't fully please God everyday, much less in Life.

    Character: quetsion 1
Q-Summarize Pauls description of those who are qualified to serve as church leaders.
A-That we must basically always do what is good. To be a church leader is to be strong in Christ and to be a person who is lookedc up to, not afraid to cry out to God, respectful, wise, honorable, not easy tempered and a one who can lead others in the right path.

question 2- Describe the person you want to be when you are older. What will be your personal qualities? What will be your priotrities? What will be the impact of your life? How will you be serving God?
A- When I get older, I don't imagine myself in a huge house and stuff, I plan to be traveling constantly doing medical missions. I want to be respectful, pleasing to God, and not a worldly man, but a godly man. My priorites will be to always devote myself to God and give it all to God. The impact of my life will mainly be the people I impact with God while doing the missions. I will be serving God like I already said, doing medical missions! haha

I got to go now, thanks!
